G654 Dark Grey or Nero Impala Granite Paving Cobblestone for Driveway and Garden Walkway
The natural grey or black granite pack of paving cube stone has a beautiful, authentic granite finish that blends a rich dark grey color with hints of cobalt and blue. Our dark grey granite paving cube stone or cobblestone has a flamed finish, natural split surface, which adds a slightly textured surface. This not only makes the slabs look more natural but also helps reduce the chance of a slip. The granite stone is calibrated in thickness to make it easy to handle and lay and is suitable to use for both internal and outdoor flooring. We now stock our dark grey granite paving stone in a small cube shape of 100×100 mm with different thicknesses like 50mm, 80mm, 100mm, which fit different garden, park, walkway, driveway projects requirements.
Most exterior projects, like the garden, plaza projects, require grey granite, black granite, or some special color stone to form a special look. Normally, use light grey granite and dark grey granite or some even black granite small cube stone to form different patterns. Most of these color granite stone comes from China, the owners prefer to use G604 grey granite, G654 Nero impala stone, as the cheapest cost and easy quality control.

Can I drive over paving slabs tiles or cobblestone with my car?
This is not a straightforward answer. In all honesty yes you can, as long as the paving slabs are laid correctly on a full bed of grit sand and cement mixed (almost like wet concrete). Obviously, the thicker the slab the less chance of the slab cracking. However, if your car weighs more than usual and there are any incorrectly laid slabs this wouldn't apply. Ideally, ESTA STONE recommends laying cobbles, setts, or block paving that is specifically suited to driveways that are 50-80mm thick.
What is the difference between calibrated paving and un-calibrated paving?
Paving is generally calibrated to make it easier to lay as all the slabs are the same thickness. The calibration process shaves a layer of stone off the bottom of the slabs making them thinner than uncalibrated stone. We have landscapers that favor both types. Some prefer thicker, uncalibrated stone as they worry that thinner stone is inferior to thick slabs. Whereas other landscapers prefer calibrated slabs as they can lay them faster.
Calibrated paving is defined as an even thickness within the manufacturers' tolerances. Typically this is plus or minus 2mm the stated thickness. If the paving is calibrated then it tends to be easier and faster to lay. The main reason being the slabs are lighter and the bedding can be made to a level thickness, therefore, reducing the need to move the bedding to make the slabs fit level.
